Extreme: Snow Tagging
February 2009 and worst snow London had seen in 50 years. The founder of CURB (which was then a 2 person company) went out into the cold having created an idea for Extreme to advertise literally in Snow. Over 300 imprints were placed across the West End and a freelance photographer captured the placements. The photos went all around the world and generated huge attention for both CURB/Extreme and snow tagging/stamping was born as a viable communication medium. This campaign has gone on to inspire creatives all around the world and the medium won the Gold award at Cannes Lions 2010.
Al Gosling, CEO/Founder Extreme said “Extreme has a long history of both branding innovation and association with alpine adrenaline living, buts its not very often we get to bring these both together onto the streets of London. CURB were able to turn it around in a couple of hours and we were very impressed with what they delivered”
