NHS Leeds Give Blood: Clean advertising
Every year thousands of lives are saved by blood donation and when NHS Leeds Blood Donor centre asked CURB for new ways to drive footfall for donors to the centre we jumped at the chance. In partnership with Leeds City Council CURB placed Clean Adverts all over streets in the city centre telling donors exactly where they needed to go to give blood. The donor centre reported a substantial rise in donations for the two weeks that the campaign was live and had to ask people visiting the centre to return to give blood on alternative days as so many people wanted to help.
The concept stood out from the usual advertising propositions that we receive. It was unusual and environmentally sound. The advertising was good and the staff from the Donor Centre did have donors come in due to the advertising, people mentioned it when they came to donate. The customer service we received from CURB Media was above and beyond. Blood collection and new donors were up on previous weeks at the centre – this highlighted that the advertising worked!

NHS Liverpool: Clean advertising
NHS Liverpool, just like most areas nationally promote that choosing the right service if a patient is unwell or injured is paramount for them to make sure that they can help you in the quickest and most effective way. With the bank holidays in April the risk of accidents and incidents is unfortunately a lot higher. NHS Liverpool asked CURB by using Clean Advertising to help them communicate their 'Choose Well' message in the area they look after. CURB were asked to place advertising at NHS walk in centers and high footfall locations around Liverpool and the NHS were thrilled with the campaign. 'Choose Well' patients are being helped quicker and more effectively as a result.
