Marston's Pedigree - Clean Advertising
Having just delivered a brilliant clean ad campaign around the biggest sporting event in the UK so far this year, we didn't really think it could get better...oh well!!
We were approached by Marstons (whose Pedigree brand is the official beer of the England cricket team) with the view to doing a super cool campaign to help our boys get a head start over the Aussies for the upcoming Ashes tests. The plan to do a series of highly targeted clean adverts around the high footfall Aussie pubs, bars and venues where our friends down under will be having a drinks before the matches. England and Australia love to ‘hate’ each other for the five test matches that stand between them and that tiny urn, it’s a unique rivalry that you don’t find at any other test — but it’s all in good humour. The very fact that we have engaged in a bit of light-hearted banter is a more of a compliment than anything else. The Aussies would probably be more offended if we didn’t!
